Apprentice Tests sells original practice material for the Elevator Industry Aptitude Test (EIAT) and the tool assessment that follows it. By using the site or buying access you agree to what is set out below.

What you are buying

Practice questions and study material written by us. They are not the official test, not copies of official questions, and not supplied by anyone who sets the official test. They are written to reflect the publicly described format of the assessment.

No guarantee of any outcome

Practising here does not guarantee that you will pass the EIAT, that you will be placed on a hiring list, that you will be offered an apprenticeship, or that you will be employed. Selection is decided by NEIEP and by the local you apply to, on criteria that are theirs alone. Nothing on this site creates any expectation of a result.

Test formats, entry requirements and recruitment procedures change, and they differ between locals. We take care to describe them accurately and to say plainly where something is reported rather than officially published — but always confirm current details with NEIEP and with the local you are applying to.

Not affiliated

We are independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of NEIEP, the International Union of Elevator Constructors, any local union, or any elevator company. Those names are used only to identify the test and the trade this material prepares you for.

Purchases and refunds

Access is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It does not expire and it is not billed again. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.

If the material is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days of purchase through the contact form and we will refund you in full. You do not have to give a reason.

Your account

Access is personal to you. Keep your sign-in link private and do not share your account. We may withdraw access without refund where an account is shared, resold, or used to copy the material in bulk.

Using the material

You may use the questions to prepare for your own assessment. You may not republish, resell, or distribute them, or use them to build a competing product. The questions and explanations are our original work.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not promise uninterrupted access. Where access is lost for a prolonged period through our fault, tell us and we will put it right or refund you.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
